MINERALOGIA - SPECIAL PAPERS (formerly: POLSKIE TOWARZYSTWO MINERALOGICZNE - PRACE SPECJALNE)
Instructions to Authors
The purpose of "Mineralogia Polonica - Special Papers" is to publish (in English only) papers connected with conferences organized by the Society and (in Polish and English) extensive dissertations of monographic type (e. g. doctoral and habilitation theses).
The conference papers should present results of completed studies or their parts (descriptive data and their at least preliminary interpretations), which were not published elsewhere. The papers should fit the state of knowledge on the presented topic. All papers published in the journal are reviewed. The Society, through Series Editor and editorial Board, maintains the proper scientific level of the papers.
The papers are subjected to review process only after the conference fee is paid (does not refer to extensive dissertations - in that case the individual agreement between the Author and publisher is made). The papers should be sent in electronic form, preferably as Adobe files, Word files for text and jpeg for illustrations are also acceptable. After the acceptance, the Editor is allowed to ask for the hardcopy on A4 sheets.
Please use the following layout: font Times New Roman CE 10 pt, single line spacing, margins: left and right 4.0 cm, lower and upper 4,8 cm. Please left for empty lines before author's name on the first page. Text justified to both margins. Indentation: 0.5 cm. Abstract, key words, tables with titles and figure captions: Times New Roman CE 10 pkt. Footnotes: Times New Roman CE 10 pkt, italic.
